Mission Statement: To serve the citizens of Birmingham by developing and implementing effective public education and community involvement programs which enhance the quality of life in beautification and environmental concerns.

Objective: To effect positive change in attitude and behavior regarding natural conservation, littering, recycling and beautification.

Meetings: The 24-member Commission, made up of community, business and government leaders, meets bi-monthly on the 3rd Wednesday beginning at 10 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.at Birmingham City Hall, Conference Room “A” located on the third floor.
