Robbery Arrest

The Birmingham Police Department reports that a suspect is in custody in connection with a robbery, attempted murder and criminal mischief investigation.

North Precinct officers responded to investigate a robbery of a person in the 2600 block of 20th Avenue North on February 19, 2011.  Officers received information that the victim had just arrived home when the suspect began to stab him multiple times before leaving in the victim’s vehicle. Officers later located the victim’s vehicle burned in the 2200 block of 30th Avenue North. The victim is expected to recover from his injuries.

The suspect has been identified as:  Odaujeo Davis, B/M, 18, of Birmingham, Alabama. Robbery 1st degree, Attempted Murder and Criminal Mischief of a Vehicle warrants totaling $135,000.00 bond have been obtained against the suspect. The suspect is in the custody of the Jefferson County Jail.
