Fugitive Arrest

The Birmingham Police Department reports today that a suspect has been arrested in Birmingham on outstanding warrants with the Anniston Police Department

Birmingham Police Department sex offender detectives received information at 3:23 p.m. that the suspect was wanted on outstanding warrants issued on Friday, December 17, 2010 and was in the Birmingham area. Sex offender detectives and the Crime Reduction Team in conjunction with the Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force located the subject in the 4700 block of Richard Arrington Jr. Boulevard at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 17, 2010. The suspect was taken into custody without incident.

Suspect in this case has been identified as:  Patrick O’Neal Warren, B/M, 35, of Birmingham, Alabama. The suspect was arrested on warrants for Rape 1st degree, Sodomy 1st degree, Robbery 1st degree, and Kidnapping 1st degree.

The subject is in the custody of the Anniston City Jail.

A photo of the suspects may be obtained at the B.P.D. Headquarters, located at 1710 1st Avenue North.
